Same sex male partners have options to conceive a biological child of their own through egg donation and the use of a gestational carrier. Both partners are able to be involved in the process and build their family.
Egg donor and gestational carrier
Male couples can select an egg donor at which time the eggs will be fertilize with one of the male partner’s sperm to create embryos. Either immediately or at a later time (after embryos are frozen) the embryo is transferred into a gestational carrier to carry the subsequent pregnancy for the couple. These 2 women can be either anonymous or known, and both go through complete screening and testing including a legal contract with the gestational carrier.
